What if, instead of leaving milk & cookies out for Santa, someone left a copy of Atlas Shrugged?

"Like" on Facebook for updates on more toons:

I missed the mark on the date a little, but hopefully there's still a bit of Christmas spirit left in some of you to stomp out.

  • Based on Atlas Shrugged, it would be perfectly fine for Santa to be altruistic....if only he doesn't force the Elfs to sacrifice themselves for it, so he can be the Nice guy eating the cookies.

  • @timparcival HAHAHAha, you know nothing, troll harder.

  • LMFAO! Santa should have called them second-handers! But he didn't read the Fountainhead.

  • Too bad santa is a fictional character

  • @TurtleShroom You are absolutely right there is a place for charity in Objectivism (Ayn Rand's Philosophy). The key is that is given by your free will. Today the government forces you to give to the poor. They attempt to do a great good by committing an even greater evil - The enslavement of the people. Go read her books.

  • WOW. Look at all the debates and flames over this book. Atlas Shrugged must be one powerful capitalistic book...

...-but by the way, doesn't Santa meet that quote's "earned" thing? Santa rewards children on merit and punishes the "naughties" with coal.

He perfoms charity out of the selflessness and Christian goodness of his heart. Even the most brutal of capitalists excercised philantropy (e.g. Rockefeller Foundation). I've never read the book, but isn't there a place for charity? Like Santa?

  • AT LEAST NOW THE ELVES CAN GET PAID!!

  • I found the quote voiced by Rand to be so hilariously placed.

  • @timparcival I smoke like a chimney

  • *LOL* From the sociopath twit who survived on Social Security and Medicare while smoking like a chimney...
