The dance in Pride and Prejudice from the BBC edition. It is processed so that the talking in the middle was covered by the music so it is a little bit awkward.

  • Today I would find a version without the text blended in the problem is that it is a series, well it can be done, but first I need to find a version without subs blended into the movie. If the opportunity will com up, I might do that.

  • I think it's funny the text i written i hebrew :)

  • how is this melody called?

  • I personally don't know, if someone does I will be happy to find out myself. There are talking while dancing and I pulled them out. If I had only the music it would be better. Sometimes music is composed especially for the film itself, so it might be the case with this part.

  • this music is on The Tudors, too!

  • i like this darcy, but this elizabeth is very unagreable, and looks older than the character age, is a bitter spinster, cant see what darcy have seen on her

  • Thanks Susana for sending... i like this movie very much!

  • I'm a little confused. Is the dance called "Mr Beveridge's Maggot" or is that the title of the music? I agree though....I do love this scene and would love to learn the dances from the Jane Austen movies available.

  • @xchelseanax I throughly agree. There is a certain elegance and simplicity to those times and to have it replaced by advertising seems like we've lost out.

  • @songbird331 it's called Mr. Beveridges Maggot.
