Mastering po liubomu cherez naushniki nikto ne delajet, tak chto somnevajus chto nizkije tak silno vazhny, ja pravda ne imel s etim nikakih problem do sih por.

Hi, have a tascam 144 mkII, a Yamaha digital keyboard PSR-E423 and ACID Studio 8. My question is the keyboard doesn' have midi ouptut but it does have USB port otput and the Tascam doesn't have USB input port

so how can I set up this to get everything from the keyboard. I plugged the keyboard to the computer via USB, I get only inputs from the keyboard keys I don't get anything else. I connected the keyboard to the tascam via the headphones but still I wasn't getting anything else.

@tigre0540 U should understand one thing- MIDI is simply a code for sending message to PC. Your sound card does not support MIDI transfer as it is designed to be a SOUND CARD, not the bridge between MIDI instrument and PC, though that would be pretty handy. If your Keyboard does not have any sound inside itself, you can not use a sound card, do you see a link here? If you keyboard only a midi keyboard, use USB port, thats the only and the best way to connect it.

Na etom video u menia golaja studija, vsio oochen izmenilos s teh por, jest kompresor, jest monitory, jest usilitel dlia naushnikov) steny obbity zvuko absorberom, slovom vsio kak polozheno. Ja bral 144 neznaja pochemu mne etot nuzhen, prosto bral podorozhe dlia teh vremion, seichas zato ne zhaleju i radujus chto nichego dopolnitelnogo v etom smysle mne ne nado, 144 rabotaet kak nado, ispolzuju jego vse resursy, drugoj ne nuzhen.

@vikholodov Absurd etot 0202, posmotri kaije vhody u oboih, na 0202 tolko odin, na 144 dva stereo i dva jack. koroche jesli ispolzujesh kompressor kotoryj razvodit na stereo 2 provoda, kak ty jego v 0202 vpihniosh? Ja polzujus TC-HELICON VOICE WORKS PLUS, u nego vyhod- 1L+1R, ja ih vyvozhu otdelnymi provodami v Tascam kak 2 mono traka, razvozhu po storonam v Logic (poluchajetsia levyj oi pravyj)- i u menia stereo. mozhno konechno i s 0202 na odnoom provode, neznaju pravda kak tam.

@RegisPPalmer I am not sure why you have problems with recognition. I usually do not use iMac with Tascam all the time, only when I record from Mic. I hate external stuff as it takes USB ports etc. So when I record, I connect Tascam and Logic automatically suggest using US 144 as a sound card, I can also chose this manually in settings of the project. As far as I know you should also install the drivers for US 144, they are free on the Tascam site. BTW my studio has changed a lot

Thank you for this tutorial..very helpful...I already have Tascam 144...iMac..and Yamaha 323..so, I was very pleased to see your equipment...Q; Why am I having issues getting my computer to recognize my 144 ? Thank you so much..
