@hollidayevery Thank you so much for your very thoughtful & complete response. From the tone of your response I'm thinking your an music industry professional. Am I correct? Well, I am not, but I am a Philly native, born & raised at 5th & Garard, living my adult years in center city, very happily. My 1st music purchase was when I was 10 yrs old, I bought an 8 track tape of the "Jackson 5". I'll never forget how that opened my bodymindspirit to a world I have loved ever since, Real Soul Music.

@backtoharmony The Jacksons recorded 2 albums there. Their first as "The Jacksons", which was the album title with the singles "Enjoy Yourself", "Show You the Way to Go"...it also featured "Good Times" and two of Michael's first released songs as a co-song writer, "Blues Away" and "Style of Life"... The other album was called "Going Places". The first was a platinum album, but the second one didn't do nearly as well...

Not to take ANYTHING from Gamble and Huff, but there were other people that were part of Philly International and Mighty Three Music as well...THOM BELL was major in the PIR Sound with his work with the Stylistics, Delfonics, and The Spinners along with arranging some great PIR songs. McFadden and Whitehead were great songwriters as well. Charles Simmons, Joseph Jefferson, and Bruce Hawes were also very instrumental to the sound...and also the unbelievable LINDA CREED!! and many others!!!
