Help from Jack Daniels, success in short.Upon my return the headlights reveal a very dazed and confused husband. "Get in, don't talk l will show you." A red British car with a forsale sign, the license plate read 1969 MGC!!!!!!. When the owner finally pulled over, 17 miles later as he slowed only to turn on the road where he lived as l pulled behind him.20 mins later on the phone with my husband for details the word manual appeared.I guess l am going to figure out how to drive my car, it was already mine when l saw it.After the 3rd failed attempts it was clear l am on my own, after all l want to stay married. With determination and to much..

In between repairs and restoration it was a daily driver and rain, cold, heat, and snow storms there was only one time it did not get me home.I had the car for 2 weeks, no tags,no insurance I did not understand why anyone would perfer a manual trans. over a automatic. MGC has a 2.9 litre six cylinder engine instead of the 1.8 4 in the MGB, and completely different front suspension, with torsion bars instead of coil springs. There is a bonnet bulge to accommodate the larger engine. Only 9000 MGCs were made, of which half are roadsters.
