The reason I never gave the Enemy a try was because they slagged off my beloved Monkeys!! But, No Time For Tears is blinding song :)

I think the enemy are a great band but arctic monkeys wipe the floor with em. They're 10 times better, the first 2 albums were way better than the Enemy's. Better riffs, way better lyrics and better beats. who can better a lyric like 'And yeah i'd love to tell ya all my problem, your not from New York City your from Rotherham.'

arctic monkeys are class. nick matt and jamie are fantastic but alex turner is a genius lyrically and inall other aspects of their music.

the arctic monkeys r at best ok, the enemy are amazin. theyr first album had about 6 anthems, and the rest were gr8. the new sonsg amazin, theyr decent lads and who gives a shit what the singer looks like? it aint a compo for the new hugo boss advert for fuck sake. gr8 band, canny wait to see them at murrayfield with oasis!!

I prefer The Enemy,your just another arctic monkeys "fan" like so many.I went to see em last year, class performance. The Enemy dont deserve top 40, thats obviously not the view of 155,000 people who went to buy away from here when it was on sale in its first week and went to number 8. And the people who bought there debut album that went straight to number 1
All im sayin is ALOT of people like monkeys cause its cool to like them
