It's 2011!!

Haha who thought that way back in 2009 when the first Zang blew through McGintys in Ipswich that we'd still be spamming up your Facebook inbox 2 years later! Well we have managed to crawl through the coldest and snowiest winter for years and things are starting to look up again, and what's that on the Horizon you ask? WELL IT'S ANOTHER ULTRZANG OF COURSE!

Thats right we're back for the summer with lots of sweeeet bands and acts lined up for the coming months and to start it all off we're back on the FIRST FRIDAY OF MARCH with one of last years BEST bands to perform at Ultrazang, and local legends, GUNSLINGER! Featuring Alan Davey who was once the bassist of the epic Hawkwind for over 20 years!!!

Also performing we have another local up and coming legend Benjamin Bloom who's been making waves since departing Rosalitta with his unique theatrical sound and clever vocal medlodies. After already gaining a following as a solo artist he has now hand-picked a full band lineup and will be debuting this new big sound at Ultrazang and the subsequent tour he will then be taking.

Starting the night off are a Cambridge band with an incredibly unique sound! The Scissors bring such a great sound that we had to have them play The Zang, a psychedelic mixture of organ led distoreted guitars, playing spaced out retro pop, with tinges of Punk and almost a Ska bounce. So good! So make sure you get upstairs as soon as the first band is announced on the night, as they are REALLY not to be missed!

To start the night off of course we have the Ultrazang circus experience spinning thier lights, we've all really missed the Zang and it's going to be an awesome moment when the Circus come out and people start cheering! So please, come out and show us you all still love the Zang, we've missed everyone so it's going to be something to look forward to!
