Religion has no value to anyone. Well, except those people profiting from it...

Ridiculous ideas deserve to be ridiculed.

Imo there is no need to ridicule religion. Religion is fine, its just the fear and ego that believers as well as atheist exhibit that creates havoc. Trade fear for love and we can all make this planet a much better place. Also, I wouldn't rely on the internet and the exchange of information to promote atheism. In fact, the opposite is happening as science and spirituallity are joining and people are finding that there might be a god afterall.

You were born an atheist. Were you really unhappy until you were indoctrinated to believe in God? You're still an atheist with respect to other gods that some people believe in, so maybe you should believe in ALL gods and fulfill your ultimate happiness!!

People with silly ideas can't expect to be shielded from ridicule. Edward is far more respectful than a lot of people Father TJ will speak to, so he shouldn't be complaining.

People don't understand METAPHOR and subjective reality. It's a waste of time to talk to atheists. Sadly, they're too left-brained, rigid, anal and egotistical. They can't understand things beyond the five senses. Very sad. I'm not religious, but THANK GOD I'm not an atheist. What a morbid, unhappy way to live....

Right. And I think expressions of that ridicule let people know that we non-believers are confident in our own beliefs, which is a very powerful tool in helping to turn the tide of belief in the USA. If they don't like it or are offended, tough shit.

Silly, stupid and dangerous beliefs should and will be called as such.

When part of their belief system is that everyone who doesn't subscribe to their particular set of beliefs or adhere to their particular set of rules is going to hell for all of eternity, on what ground can they claim to 'respect' us?

When they tell us that a person is going to suffer the worst possible torture for time unending, no matter how much good and how little bad they do, on what basis do they 'respect' morality?
