Looe - Festival By The Sea - 2010

The weather held out, and a lovely weekend was had by all. The raft race, always a bizarre and surreal event, was won by The Globe Inn. Ha! And many watched the dramatic sight of the sea rescue by the Royal Navy, from the cosy warm comfort of Looe Beach. Very dramatic. There were fewer restaurants in this year's food event, which was a pity; so if you're watching this, and fancy giving the 2012 events 'a go', please do, as we really need more food stalls!
