This local access TV clip is about 40B and 40R (which are Massachusetts laws designed to encourage the production of affordable housing in all Mass cities and towns) and the efforts of some who seek to end these measures and keep affordable housing out of certain areas of the Commonwealth.
Following a brief introduction by the host, we see anti-affordable housing attorney and Duxbury Selectman Jon Witten display the kind of extreme rhetoric and intellectual dishonesty which, no doubt, helped lead to the extraordinary failure of the initiative petition he supported to get rid of 40B. This initiative petition would have, if successful, ensured that towns like Duxbury never, EVER, have to suffer the indignity of affordable housing in their midst.
Looking on is the "Chairman" of the anti-affordable housing group, John Belskis, who chuckles heartily as he watches his attorney insult basic decency and common sense, and host Joe Pecevich, who self-identifies as farmer, political refugee, & talk show host- living in an internal exile.
sully206 is a moron. Jon Witten has made his living of Chapter 40B and affordable housing programs for many years. He is a fraud ....

The poster is a moron.
Witten was pointing out, quite accurately, that developers had proposed changing 40B rules to take away the rights of abutters to appeal what is, at its core, a governmental decision.
How is that Constitutional?
