An Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake we encountered coming out of the surf on a recent walk on Honeymoon Island, Florida.

  • @TheLovetocatchbass < Poisonous snakes, aka (Serpents) are of the Devil and should be killed on the spot... Don't you read the scriptures...?

  • @chimandude its cruel to kill animals to make shit people can easily survive without

  • Perfect size for a belt...

  • Yikes, I suppose we should always be aware of the possibilites.

  • Great video indeed! One of the few land-lubber snakes we'll ever see take to saltwater and definitely the only rattlesnake I know of that will.

The island name "Honeymoon" is funny since most honeymooners would run like hell at this sight, or mindlessly slaughter the snake. Not me or my lady though, and the wholesale destruction of these beautiful creatures - not to mention the reprehensible, willful ignorance behind it - is heartbreaking to put it charitably.

  • Great video!
