  • nice one Mr Angus!! LOL...

  • Yeah, The Jazz Singer was the first commercial "talkie" so this is way ahead of it's time...10 years ahead in fact. Neat achievement! Although by the spring of 1923 some sound & film synchronisation was achieved, but it was a painstakingly difficult process & took big bucks, lots of luck & expert know-how. Perhaps a good lab could restore this footage & who knows, even get it to full 1080p HD standards with full Dolby surround sound & glorious Technicolor. This is way to good for YouTube!

  • amazing that they had the equipment back then. great voice!

  • so you should hit up Witney for some recompense. That is if she has any left after all the hooch.

  • LoL ... I Will Always Love You Dolly Parton

  • lol nice one. My mother's grandfather played gypsy violin back in Romania, maybe I should see if I can dig up some footage of him...

  • Hilarious!!!! Love, love, LOVE it!

  • There are no words for how amazing this archive footage is.
