Yeah, The Jazz Singer was the first commercial "talkie" so this is way ahead of it's time...10 years ahead in fact. Neat achievement! Although by the spring of 1923 some sound & film synchronisation was achieved, but it was a painstakingly difficult process & took big bucks, lots of luck & expert know-how. Perhaps a good lab could restore this footage & who knows, even get it to full 1080p HD standards with full Dolby surround sound & glorious Technicolor. This is way to good for YouTube!
