Madonna - Love Won't Wait (1994 Demo)

A song abandoned and not used on the Bedtime Stories album. Madonna and Shep Pettibone later gave it to the Take That singer Gary Barlow. It was not written specifically for him. He received a demo tape with that song including her lead and backing vocals. The unreleased Madonna demo is US copyright registration #PAu-1-889-250. The demo leaked onto file-sharing services from sources unknown around the year 2000. Madonna's version has a strong clear vocal with bubblegum instrumentation that vaguely sounds like synth-Motown.

although madonna decided to leave this song from the released album 'bedtime stories' maverick/warners handed this song to english singer gary barlow during recording sessions for his solo debut album,he released song as his second single,he took this song straight to the top of the uk charts! proving that madonna not only is an outstanding musical artist but an accomplished and successfull songwriter for others :)

when this song was released back in 96 or 97 by Gary Barlow, i knew it was written by Madonna. I did'nt know that this song was meant for the bedtime stories album. This sounds fresh even though it was years ago. Thanks for posting!

this is a great version of Love Won't Wait but nothing beats Gary Barlow's Version I'm sorry i love the way Madonna sang it it was so beautiful and i do love this bubblegum pop version and Gary's version does not suck but i love both versions it doesn't matter about who's versions are better it was really nice of Madonna to give this amazing song to Gary and i love the way Gary covered it i love his voice he sang this song so perfect i do love Madonna's version but i love Gary's version more

Can I just say Warner should open their vault and hand over all the amazing "unreleased" Madonna songs to the Fans on CD releases! It's absurd, there are so many now! I also adore the demo for Each time you break my heart, which did not make the final cut for True Blue and was given to Nick Kamen.
