maybe a bit more than that

  • @MegaRandompoo I love the word git! I want to start integrating that into my every day vocabulary.

You guys have some seriously awesome slang. And the English accent is simply delightful. Jealous.

  • You forgot clunge... -:)

  • @iFluffyKitten - What is clunge?! That sounds amazing... I'm here in London right now and want to use it (although there's no way I'll use it without learning what it is first).

    LIMM.

  • All these people are like 'Im British but I use more American terms'

Well BLOODY HELL I'm American and I use more British terms.

In fact my English teacher was reading Harry Potter and learned what Bloody translates into in America and got PISSED (<--angry not drunk) because I say it in class all the time.

  • @amy8huimin8swain - Awesome.

  • Never heard of 'goolies' before, ooh and 'minger' is pronounced like 'singer', just with an 'm', plonker is more used to describe an idiot, otherwise I've got to say I use a large majority of those words! some of my favourite which you didn't include are "Not my cup of tea"and "nutter". Tbh most British people use a lot of american slang as we get a lot of tv shows from America buut my favourite would have to be "the bee's knees" "blast from the past" "dweeb" and "fanny pack" I find quite funny.
