Here is the HobbyKing De Havilland Mosquito made by HC Hobby. This is a seriously nice model, easy to build, looks great, flies great and the only down side I can give it is that the stock props need to be upgraded, apart from that she's a winner :)

For any more info on the model, or mods that I did etc please feel free to ckeckout my blog on RCgroups http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=282085 or post a comment or shoot me an email and I'll try answer you question as best I can.

Thanks for watching and thanks again for your support.

Here is the great thread for this plane on RCgroups http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1338838

Guys on RCgroups are saying that these are stronger drop in replacement retracts as they use a thicker 3.5mm wire leg instead of the standard 2.5mm http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=3821

  • What is the correct CG for the 4S 3300mAh 20C battery?

  • @ChopterMan Battery type/size doesn't effect correct CG position. I like to set mine at the rear end of the plastic radiator covers on the bottom of the wing as it's suits my flying style

  • thanks again ,on hobby king there no master screw props counter ones or are they the pusher ones

  • @svfury it doesn't really matter if they're counter-rotating or not, it's more for looks than performance

  • thanks for all your help can i pick your brain again when fitting the props ans spinner does it go ,nut then back plate nut and prop then spinner because when i tighten the spinner up the back plate catches on the cowel ??? and the tail plane really got me stumped i have cut out the bit on the rear of the fusealage but it still doesn,t fit if ?? so close to been able to fly

  • @svfury you'll need 2 nuts in front of the prop so as to lock. If the backplate is rubbing I'd suggest using washers to space it out.

  • WOW, and i thought i was hyper...

  • @svfury Personally I prefer 4 cells but it's still ok on 3cell, mores so if you use 10" props. Glue I used was actually 2 types, I used a little bit of 5min epoxy and also some EPO glue which I had left over from some of my FMS models. There's actually not alot of gluing needed with this model luckily enough

  • thanks will bear that in mind ,although the 4 cell looks alot better ,what glue did you use i normal use uhu por on my foamies
