  • @zreidsnider I'd like to think people who listen to Ashcroft's music and see him live are intelligent enough to make their own minds up about smoking, I doubt they're sheep. Also, if we are to believe some of the 'habits' he may have had in the past the fact he gave those up deserves the up most respect, so who gives a damn if he has the occasional smoke? And yes, I smoke too. If you love the music just comment on that in future. I'll do the same.

  • @tashthebitch he sampled an orchestrated version of "The Last Time",doesn't really sound like the Stones version at all.Ashcroft wrote the lyrics but writing credits were given to Jagger/Richards.

  • did the verve not steal the bittersweet symphony tune from the rolling stones.? i love it and the verve but i member hearing that, is it true? they seemingly got in trouble as mick jagger said hed written it a few yrs before
