Michael Jordan game-winner: Bulls vs Jazz, 1997 Finals: Game 1

But Michael Jordan delivers all the time.

After the 1997 MVP, Karl Malone, missed two late free throws that would have given the Jazz the lead, Michael Jordan calmly nailed a jumper as time expired to give the Bulls a 84-82 win in game one of the 1997 Finals.

Jordan hit 13 of 27 shots to finish with 31 points. Scottie Pippen had a solid game, adding 27 points.

For Utah, Malone finished with 23 and John Stockton added 16.

The Bulls took a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series.

Funny that they gave Malone the MVP that year. It's just like MJ's earlier years when he should've won MVP but didn't because it would be too much of him winning it every single year. As Chuck Daly said, MJ literally was embarrassing the league. They had to give freebie MVPs to Barkley and Malone.

Game Has Changed Allot In THis Era Allot Of great players hogged on 1 team smh and in this era i see allot of talent for young superstars tough era now a days like to see how jordan does in this era.. well never now Idk Who'd Be Better I know allot of people would be mad but I Think Kobe Is pretty damnn Close to Jordan

@jakestanley52 That's exactly what happened, and that's what always happened when MJ had the ball. He made them think he's drive, then he'd make you think he shoots, or vice versa. He used the thriple threat like none other.
