yep, just like you can if you get Adell as DLC in Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 3 Return will most likely have all 4 Disgaea protagonists.

Thats just the symbol the game uses to show monsters able to use the magichange2 ability. Maybe they went with that symbol to make it seem like Mao copyrighted the monsters after he modifies them in the itemworld to have the ability?
