The Science of Rocketry actually goes back hundreds of years before the Germans and Americans created 'real' rockets!

Agreed! Disney championed the educational powers of both cinema and television - and yes, even at his 'amusement' parks (particularly at 'Tomorrowland'). Several of his educational films still stand-up well today, such as "Our Mr. Sun" and "Hemo theMagnificent."
The 1950s and early '60s were the glory days for the U.S., with an educational system the envy of the world. But the 'American Century' ended with the 20th century; the 21st will belong to Asia (in particular, China & India).
For an exceedingly informative discussion of von Braun, coast on over to CBC Radio's award-winning weekly science program "Quirks and Quarks" - cbc-dot-ca/quirks - and select the archived audio of the 19 Dec, 2009 program. In the third segment (at 34:25), host Dr. Bob McDonald interviews author Wayne Biddle, who discusses his new book "Dark Side of the Moon: Werner von Braun, the Third Reich and the Space Race." This superb program is well worth bookmarking.
"Im doing a Science project on Von Braun" do an history project (Thesis antithesis) "without him we would have no moon landings. " maybe.... and without him the first v2 dont hit my country, and dont hit so many civilians in england, and dont kill so many (twice the english victims number) prisoners in germany.
in fact if u love nonsense i can make u a "spéciale dédicace".
-Without your country, my grandfather dont make 2 wars. -Without your country full of bretzel's, george w almost dont die. -Without your country, all the girls shave their legs. -Without your country, I will never have these disobliging comment.
ps: enjoy the second degree :-) (and I am sorry to have wounded your love of National Socialism).

What are they teaching the youth in the schools these days?
