tune-o-matic bridges are usually used with stop bar tail pieces which are mounted on studs. When you install ur studs you usuallly have a ground wire squeezed between the stud mounting piece and the surrounding wood, Hope that explains!

is that a factory strat-o-tele? or did you put that humbucker in the neck yourself? It looks like you moved the standard tele neck down and replace it with a humbucker
