Certification means nothing. However, this guy is an obvious prick. I've seen the way he reacts with dogs, and it's usually a "snap-hiss" reaction that is borderline abusive. I don't know why people (including you) go after Cesar Millan. You should keep talking about assholes like this guy who are obviously in no way qualified to even OWN a dog. Anybody who calls their show "At The End Of My Leash" is obviously a stuck-up prick to begin with. He even LOOKS like an asshole.

I can see a distinct difference between Pattison and Millan. I wouldn't let Pattison babysit a pet rock, much less a dog, but Millan I would trust completely. I think Millan gets the rap he does because of controversy. I'll agree that his methods aren't what most of the population consider "acceptable," but I've not once watched the show and felt uncomfortable about what he was doing. Even Millan himself says that his way isn't the only way, and he's always open to new ideas.

Notice how he talks about 'good television' while maniacally rubbing his hands together (greed much?). looking for something that will 'catch the viewers attention' . The show is about making people feel good? I don't think so. He's abrasive and rude to the owners and ignorant to the dogs.

Brad I know you are a good person but I think you need some Guidance from the Universe=Universal Positive Energy!!! Look inside and think about what I posted earlier :) You can get help Privately with your Anger and there's medication/Natural or Pharmaceutical to help you!! You just have to choose too get help!?

Brad You can Learn to Control your Anger if you want to!!? It means giving up the Notion of needing total control over each situation/dog,person!! You/We as Humans don't have control over every thing we only have Power to Influence People,Animals by Conviction!! Let go of your perceived power and Let the Positive Energy Flow Through Your Body by doing the above mentioned! This is all done by Learning all your personal Trigger's and Learning to Deal with them Positively!! LIVE,LOVE,LAUGH OFTEN

Brad has an Anger Problem-which most Anger issues stem from needing or wanting to control the Situation/Dog which in turn is very Arrogant!! I trained my dog myself,she's not perfect nor am I! My dog is a well behaved Dog and You need to stay consistent with Training every day for the dog's whole Life! Suggestion=Teach your Dog the word "STOP"=don't move from the spot= in an emergency =Your Dog won't be distracted by any thing!! If you call the dog by name=Dog doesn't know what to do!=Safer!

@pollak1989 T.V. should also make you more aware of your actions. No self-proclaimed "professional" should be dragging, choking, and screaming at dogs on national T.V., especially when it's a show designed to show viewers at home what to do. The problem is this isn't a "Training style" it's abuse, and anyone who has read a book or been to a seminar or class about dog training in the last ten years knows that.
