Hi themactech
I figured it out! All I needed to do is to create another track and turn monitoring on for the vocal head mix track. If I want to record I can turn both Master track and vocal headphone mix on.
Thanks1

Hi themactech,
I have an ESU1808 and was trying your tutorial out. However for some reason the effects, I'm using a delay to hear the effect better, is also being recorded in my main mix. I am using the basic template that you are using, however I am using the headphone jack in the ESU1808 to monitor my voice recording. I usually only work with recording voice. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Hey there... can you take a screenshot of the back of your rack (the audio ins and outs) and let me see what you got going on. You can send directly to claytonrlewis@gmail.com

Also remember that once you do your recording... you can turn off the headphone disable the send buttons for that track. That may be why you're still hearing the fx

I apologize for the lack of quality during the last half of this video. I'm using a new piece of software and working out the kinks.
