Poison & Wine.

PLEASE READ FIRST!

This is another video that I made of one of my favourite films, but unfortunately it became a Film That Should Not Be Named, because many of my videos with this film are blocked in some countries now and YT sends me more and more warnings :S. But well.. I don't like listening when I disagree, so here I go again: it is a video about Pride and Prejudice! I know that this video is simple (perhaps even more then usual :p) but I felt like it suits the song this way. The grey parts represent some transition to me: they start to see each other differently during those phases.

I don't really feel the "need to vid" nowadays, so perhaps it will take some time for me to upload something again. A few years before I just HAD to make certain videos and that drive is gone now. Perhaps it also influences the quality of my videos that it doesn't seem a necessity anymore...

Well anyway, I just don't know what and how my next video will look like :p. The song I used is a part of the song Poison and Wine from the Civil Wars. Isn't it beautiful?

This video brings back so many memories of the old days. All of us vidders sharing our hearts on the internet. We still do, but there was a different feel then, then there is now. Vidding will always have a place in my hobby box, but its not the same as it used to be. I still enjoy it, but not with the same passion I used to have for it.

@bluesalad True, it was different somehow... I can't exactly grasp what it was but I also felt such an urge to make certain videos ;-). But I still love ding it in some spare time, but I don't think it absorbs me in the same way it used to absorb me. But, like you said very well, it will also always have a place in my hobby box and I am glad that I can expect some other videos from you! xxx

You don't know how much I'm enjoying this video! It reminds me of my younger vidder days. I know what you mean when you say you don't feel the need to vid as much as you used to. I feel the same way! There was a time when this was the one way I expressed myself.Now I channel my creativity into other things. I haven't forgotten vidding, but it isn't the only thing anymore. While that makes me kind of sad, I am grateful when vidding was my transition.

@bluesalad I hear that from many more vidders that I know from the old days (lol) that they are not feeling it as a necessity (or however you write that :p) anymore.... But it is good to hear that I am not the only one and I also think that it is good that we are expanding our horizon (no idea if that is also an english saying but you must get my point). Please tell me, what creative things do you do?

I just read your vid description, and I'm sad to hear you're not in a vidding mood; I hope you won't stop making fan vids.It's a beautiful video, and the editing fits the song and fandom well. I enjoy watching your videos; you follow your heart rather than the "trends"; editing is not simple; your videos are subtle, not simple :) And the song is so amazing; I listen to it often on my ipod :) I didn't know this fandom was on YT radar; that's scary.

Thanks for encouraging me and thanks for being so sweet :). Yes, this song is a true beauty! Although songs usually lose some of their power after I vidded with it (just as this one :p) but after a few months that is usually changed, so I'll wait patiently LOL. xxx and thanks again! :)

@GHJasamfan Gosh Nancy! You do know how to lift up my feelings ;-). Yes, this song is a true gem and I just couldn't believe that nobody vidded Lizzy/Darcy with this song before me. But then again, not that many people vid for P&P anymore ;-). Thank you for being such a kind person and for always taking the time to watch/comment on my videos. It really means a lot! @veryval Yeah and this song is perfect isn't it? *sighs* You should vid with it too! :p I am glad you like my calm editing. I often think people hate it, because it just isn't the trend nowadays, is it? ;-) True, not many people vid P&P anymore, but it just has something special and vidding it makes me a bit nostalgic :). haha! I love how we are all talking about "the old times" as if we are 80-some things :p. I am glad you enjoyed this and thanks for being such a kind person! xxx
