I think you still need SSAS (depending on what you want), if you are running reports against cubes. Hope they now have that auto create cubes system and compression as well. Quiet curious to investigate.

AWESOME! I am so happy to see that Microsoft has done its homework and watching TED, and the results are promising! I can't wait to investigate this report design experience further in the Denali version.
