This is a tribute to the 1997 Gregg Araki film "Nowhere" which happens to be one of my favorite films. It also has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a movie, and the the background music is one of the songs in the film, which is one of the best songs ever. It is called Avalyn 1 by Sowdive. It is one of those songs that many people have been searching for for years because it is more of a rare track and is also for some reason is not on the soundtrack.
I do not own any of the material used in this film, The quote at the beginning of the video is a quote from the movie.

Gregg Araki films, & this movie in particular, fill me with such nostalgia. Although tortured indeed, they represent for me a snapshot in time of reckless, careless, fearless youth.

I'm pretty sure that the doom generation is not a sequel to nowhere, but is like, part of a trilogy of movies that the director made that are similar. I've seen the doom generation, and i didn't like it as much as nowhere but it was still pretty cool in a lot of aspects. (it had Rose Mcgowen in it!!!)

Thank you! i know the only place i have seen dvds of the movie is online, i don't think i have ever seen it in stores, which sucks :-(
