I always believed that anime was for children and most of it is, but Shigurui taught me that Anime could be a artful and meaningful medium. Shigurui combined messages, medephores and lessons of WW2 through lessons of the feudal area

Shortly hearing of Musashi i started creating a character for a story and in the story it goes through the time line of my character starting in his youth and continuing on to his older years after i had the base for the character I watched a documentery on Musashi and noticed simularitys in the lives of both like Musashi when my character is younger he dreams of being a great warrior he fought in the same manner Musashi did started out brutal in youth became graceful in older years
