its not supposed to be 'poetic'....the point of view of the movie is from a 5 year old little girl. She's just trying to put life together the best she can. That's kind of why it doesn't quite 100% make sense

I'm in complete agreement w/U! Even if just 4 an updated, much more deeply researched story on Phil Lynott, Grand Slam, his solo work, his daughters, ex-wife, Philomena (his doting & ever-loyal Mum), the illnesses & behaviours that ended his life early, true pride 4 being Irish, the bigotry he exp'd from 'White Supremists' 4 being half African-Carribean/half Irish Caucasian, his other strong interests (Irish Mythology/History/Poetry), how he lernd&Mastrd playng BassGtr in ONLY 1YR!

I loved this movie.

It was a good movie, but I couldn't tell if the little girl was really deep and over my head at times or just talking nonsense. Like the last line, "When it all goes quiet behind my eyes, I see everything that made me flying around in invisible pieces." It seems poetic but is just absurd at the same time.
