thanks everybody for the nice comments. I produced the original version which you can find on itunes ( real brazil album by antoine olivier and Glaucus linx it is called "meu amor" ). It is a straight acoustic bossa nova, this version here is a remix I did for Putumayo a bit later.

The song was written by Glaucus, and it is a classic!

This vocal performance by Mariana is amazing, it was actually the demo version we recorded in my flat and we could never better it in the studio.
