My golden loves water too, I wish I could let him off his leash but our beaches require them to be on a leash :(

I brought my 10 year old golden to the beach this summer for the first time and she loved it. Couldnt get her to get out of the water all and back to the house

They're adorable! They didn't even run after that dog on the lead, mine would haha and she wouldnt come back. I love goldens and want one as my next dog, I always wanted a dog i could play fetch with so i bought a lab x and her owners said she loved the play with a tennis ball, guess what she completely ignores them! Owell she plays with her teddies just doesnt play fetch but i love her anyway :)

I recently lost my golden :'( But he used to LOVE playing ball in the water!! He would play fetch all day in the summer <3

uis it possible for the dogs to drown or do they know not to go to far out?

I remember taking my goldie to the beach when he was just just over a year old, there was this miserable old man with a little yapping rat walking along, mine went to greet him, he picks up his rat and smacked my pooch four times with his walking stick and ranted that I should have him on a leash. he didn't let me get a word in edge ways so I walked away with my dog he called me ignorant. Fortunately it never made my dog bitter and other people on the beach were happy yo pet him.

They're adorable! Mine loves playing fetch at the beach too but it's so hard trying to keep him from making friends with every single person on the beach hehe :)

I love your golden's. I wish mine was more active like that lol. mine is a bit clumsy. we're going back to the beach in april with a new video camera so i should have some video of mine lol.
