wonderful sound together. Much prefer both these sops in duet /ensemble setting like this, voices blend wonderfully. Kirkby with Bowman duets are other-worldly. Just brings that extra something I don't get from their solo work.

They use a special pronunciation which scholars believe was the way Latin was pronounced in Purcell's England.

Actually shortly after posting my comment I had that doubt and I apologize, but you have to understand how this pronunciation can sound absurd to me :)

Don't worry, I also find it a bit funny :)
When I sung this piece, we used "standard" Latin.
