This is my first attempt at doing a proper time lapse video, so be kind!

I did it with my (trusty) Canon 450d, fitted with the kit 18-55mm lens and an intervalometer!

I had never even heard of the word "intervalometer" until a couple of weekends ago when I was looking at other people's excellent time lapse work and I thought that I would like to try that!

So, I bought a generic brand Intervalometer for £15 from Amazon ( you can see it here - http://tinyurl.com/intervalometer . The proper Canon one was close to £100. So I paid my money and took a chance on the cheap one!

I was impressed with how easy it is to use and it worked well. With in a few hours I had the source photos to make this film. 542 of them to be precise!
