  • It's not so much the lack of disbelief that bothers me. It's the lack of DOUBT. What is so wrong in just being intellectually honest? I don't have a friggin clue what happens after I die. I don't know if there is a God. Or gods. Or Goddesses. The FACT is, neither does any one else. Ah screw it. I'm going to start my own church and live like a fat pig. Praise whatever....

  • I feel the breathtaking beauty of nature. I feel the impulse to care for those in need. I feel the need to dedicate my life to some cause that is bigger than myself. I do not need permission from a supremely intelligent being to feel these things.

  • in short; i have a little brain, i' m too busy to think about it (like watching some stupid serials and movies) when i was i child they said there is a god, i'm a coward to think otherwise (they frightened me well enough). so there is god

  • Argument from "its pretty"? Thats evidence?

  • Standard "I dont know science and I don't understand" therefore God did it.

    Igorance is no reason.

    Faith = Error.

I want to believe in something was the common thread.

That does not make it so. Sorry.

  • its a good compilation of music and bullshit :)

  • "There HAS to be somebody up there"

Where does that need to believe comes from ???

Why so many people find it so difficult to just accept the world as it is ?

I guess I'll never find out, since I was born free from that primal need.

  • "I look at things and I know it's God..."

    Wow, that is epic logic.

  • ...none of this Answers a single argument for atheism. Unless, of course, you happen to think that ignoring them is an answer.

If you do, that's fine I guess. Every argument grants that irrational belief is the right of the individual.

What the rationalist takes issue with is that such irrational beliefs are, quite often, presented as truths.

I, for one, actually like hearing what people believe. Just don't claim it is true unless you can prove it to some extent.

  • I listen to these people and I become afraid. Then I realize that these people also vote and the fear turns to terror and despair.

  • A theist looks at the world in wonder and says "Goddunit" because it makes them feel good. A skeptic will admit when they don't know, but will try to find the real answers.

  • i see stupid people
