Growing up, the "Old Maestro" wasn't Walt Disney, the man whose animators lovingly gave that nickname to. It was Jim Henson. My first memory of going to the movies was my Dad taking me to see The Muppets Take Manhattan. Watching Fraggle Rock on HBO was something we'd never let a Sunday go by without if we could help it. I had "Happiness Hotel" committed to heart when I was in the 1st grade. Losing Jim was really tough for me, and I thank God for what he gave, and that it's still with us today.

Life's like a movie, write your own ending
Keep believing, keep pretending.
Thank you, Jim. =)

@jbennz02 that is so true very well put! thank you.
When I found out Jim Henson was dead I went into a funk that lasted a very long time. Of course one has to move on but it was a loss that I never really got over. I'm glad to see the muppets are still kicking but it's not really the same.

@jquevedo61 I think a lot of Henson fans feel the same way. It truly was a great loss.

The interviewer ask Frank Oz about Jim's death at 00:31. Frank begins to cry, it's very very rare to see.
