Will Hedgecock possesses a voice best described as "classic." At once, it serves as a standard of excellence, possesses enduring quality, and is destined to become historically memorable. That voice is showcased in world-class fashion on Will's forthcoming CD, Reflections, produced by music industry veteran, Larry Butler. Butler, the first - and only - Nashville producer to win the coveted Grammy Award for "Producer Of The Year," has shaped the careers of superstars, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, John Denver, and others. Reflections contains both original songs, and timeless Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary standards, which provide Will the platform to introduce his classic vocal talent to the world.

Will was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Both of his parents were music fans, and early on he developed a love for the music that played in their home, including the sounds of Elton John, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, and songs from the musical theater. When Will was 9 years old, he joined the Pensacola Children's Chorus, and for 10 years, he sang and toured with the group throughout the U.S., England, Canada, France, and Mexico, performing at many prestigious venues, including the White House. Will was first discovered by Butler, a fellow Pensacolan, at a hometown performance of the children's chorus.

Will learned to play guitar and piano, and soon began to think of a solo career. He utilized his performing experience to hone his stage show, and grow his fan base. As his career grew, so did his vision - and his dreams to achieve on a grand scale. In 2005, when Hurricane Ivan devastated Pensacola, and much of the northwest coast of Florida, Will spearheaded a benefit concert - which sold-out - raising over one hundred thousand dollars for the hurricane victims.

Around this time, Will met his manager, Nashville Music Row veteran, Jimmy Gilmer, and this eventually led to an introduction to George Collier, COO of Aspirion Records. Upon hearing Will's voice, Collier conceived the concept for Reflections. "I heard in Will a voice that would be able to create hits of his own, and cover songs that most artists would shy away from," Collier states. Reflections is the result of that vision. On the CD, Will finds his own sound on new original ballads, and he wraps his stunning vocals around chestnuts by Nat King Cole, Roy Orbison, Jackie Wilson, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel and other superstars. Collier, however, is quick to point out: "This is not a tribute album -- it is an album of great songs, by great writers, and great artists - delivered by a great singer."

Will, currently a Senior at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, will graduate in the spring with honors and a degree in Computer Engineering. "I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished - both with computers and music," Will states modestly. However - his lifelong passion is to have a successful career in music. His intellectual depth, along with his good looks, world-class vocals, and piano skills, set the stage for Hedgecock to accomplish that goal.

  • lol, this video

  • Will Hedgecock is a hugely talented young man who I feel privledged to say that I knew when he was a child. He's a close friend of my family and I have to say, he looks very much like his Mother, whom I think the world of. Will, I hope you ride that talent to the highest possible reaches of your dreams.

  • @wobano too bad that people like you who have no clue what they're talking about can post anything they like wherever they like. Will is a very talented young man and it's very easy for those of us who don't have a drop of in in our veins to condem them out of hand to make ourselves feel better about our pathetic lives.

  • What a great guy, with an amazing voice. More please. I will be looking out for him. I must buy some albums. Cheers.

  • This is an awesome song! You can make fun of him all you want, but you can't deny the power of the lyrics!

  • As good as a thousand young college students in a thousand theatre schools across this country...trust me...I know. Actually, his performance skills could use a little work. I find him rather "fake" and show-man like. Not honest. It's just sad that with money and connections someone can get as far as he has, and yet so many more talented singers are never discovered and working hard every day to be...

  • oh jeez.

  • I also think he sounds a little like Clay Aiken, who has one of the most mesmerizing, heavenly voices around, IMO. When I heard Will I had to come and check him out. Very, very nice. I'm not impressed with most singers, but I certainly enjoyed listening to Will.

  • his voice sounds a little like clay aiken

  • i want to download this song but i cant find it anywhere :(
