  • @tomfag1 Bugger off in the colloquialisms of the Irish means quite simply "go away" and this particular song is often played by Irish bands at the end of an evening in any establishment where alcohol is served. And you can find the lyrics anywhere on the Internet if you care to look and in context you will find they are not being abusive as suggested by your presumption that bugger off is the same as piss off or fuck off.
