@KanghiWinyan The grass dance was consisted of He'thuska society members that had a particular war honor. That particular war honor was the scalp of a enemy they had taken during battle. The scalps were worn around the waist by those warriors that had the right to do so. They would dance with those scalps and dance to how they got them scalps such as ducking low, moving to the side to miss an arrow, etc. Latter the scalps were replaced by sweet grass that were braided to represent those scalps.
