Written by George Weiss, Hugo Peretti, and Luigi Creatore. Elvis recorded it March 21, 1961 at Radio Recorders for the movie Blue Hawaii. It is available on Blue Hawaii soundtrack, which is where this version is from. Elvis also sang this song during the January 14, 1973 Aloha from Hawaii Special.

@dra6osh ... yup. My Aunt thinks I'm bonkers with my Elvis obsession (which I've had since I'm 11) but what can you do. Elvis' music has given me soooooooo much throughout my life and that is why I love him.

I was in the early teens and became an ardent fan of Elvis after watching him in the Blue Hawaii in the early sixties, and this song K-U-U-I-PO is still one of the best Elvis' songs to me. To me, Blue Hawaii was the best Elvis' movie of that era!!! Thank you for the video.

@ibm198708 He is saying I love you more today than yesterday, and less than I will tomorrow. That means, I will love you more tomorrow than I do today. Every day he will love you more than he did the day before because his love keeps growing for you every day.
