Wow. There are a lot of real dummies out there. First off, diesel is far superior to gas,Gas is faster than diesel, and there is no north american gas motor that can compare to the vw tdi. And if you are ignorant inbred southern trash, then fuck your trans-am and talk to someone who owns a cummins, powerstroke, or even a duramax. they will all say diesel is better. Oh yea, if you want to swap your 2.0 with a VR, make sure that the body is amazing, cause other wise, there is no point. Start over

@carman5011 You misunderstood my original comment. TDI's are cheap and easy to mod, and still get incredible economy. I have a 150HP TDI myself that I've driven modded for over 3 years without any trouble and never much less than 50MPG. You have to consider that the car is a factory 90HP slug, and really doesn't get much better than 40mpg stock.

@SuperChicken13 Really you dont know your diesels that kind of mod will make more power and increase economy( as long as your not beating it all the time). I bet that car still gets 50+ MPG.

@papaown I call them dumb because they lack the knowledge required to make an educated comment. My generalization regarding trans ams is based upon steriotypical "white trash" rides. I am not knocking people that own trans ams, (in fact, I am a fan of the model) but rather the people that typically represent them according to my personal experience. Don't be so easily offended. I'm not when people call me a looser for driving a mini van. Kids and their shit take up space!
