They do make a small air cooled model as well but this engine is the Z482 (Z stands for "zwei"which is German for two) Several companies marinise these engines, Betamarine and Nanni Diesel are two. AFAIK The Farrymann Yellow River Star is the smallest marine diesel on the market (AKA Bukh DV7)

Very cool. Cute, too. They last forever. I have a single cylinder Kubota that used to drive the lights on a sign board....heavy, well built, runs forever, water cooled horizontal cylinder. Maybe 250cc, I don't know. It drives a 250 watt generator to charge my battery banks.
