Card counting is not illegal, but it is illegal when you are using a device to help you win. Hence this will be considered a cheating device. HENCE YOU WILL GO TO JAIL!! just letting you guys know! fair warning to you all!!!

Casinos know about the app. While it's not illegal for you to count cards, this is using a device to keep count. The Law classifies this as cheating. So when you're winning, and someone sees this app, you're going to jail. Too bad so sad.
If you want to count cards, learn to do it and practice. Don't Cheat! Don't Cheat!

@webtopia But still turns the perfectly legal activity of card counting into a felony for using a "device". Use your head, thats the only legal way. Be a nice guy, tip when winning so the dealer doesnt bother drawing additional attention to you.

Best way to count cards is to work as a team. One person keeps the point count, the other tracks the aces, and on more keeps a running total of cards that have come out of the shoe. Counting in your head is frowned upon and can get you 86'd but is not illegal. ANY device used to count is a felony in every State. But by all means try it. I love busting stupid cheaters.

To anyone stupid enough to use this application in a casino be warned that using a device to count cards is a felony. Electronic devices are not permitted in any Blacjack Pit and you will go to jail. Surveillance will notice.

It's a nice idea, but it doesn't even divide the remaining decks to give you the true count when playing 6 deck shoes. Also, wouldn't you be better off just keeping track of the cards yourself, rather than risking felony charges?

If you check the video response the updated version does keep track of true count.

It's currently not available in any store.
Apple have removed it from sale. An update is currently waiting for approval, but they have been sitting on it for some time now.
