Rapsody is knowing what he is talking about, I doubt that many will start buying Q-Bert vinyls or start to learn baby scratches...but the DJ community could have some exposure...just like rap started having some outside the US in the late 80's/ early 90's..

how does this "expose" anything about dj'ing? 99 percent of the people who buy this game won't even care how these mixes were made.. they just want to push colors in the correct pattern.
haters? who am i hating on? i have no hatred or ill-will towards anyone.. just a different opinion than you. if you really believe this game is going to do any good for DJ'ing, keep living that fantasy.. i'll be here on planet earth.

Exposure doesn't mean everyone becoming a DJ... Although some will be inspired... It just keeps the art in people's face which is a good thing... but whatever.
And my apology on the drummer comment... haters are starting to blend together on youtube.

oh yeah, tons of people are going to go out and buy all the vinyl they can get their hands on and start buying qbert records after playing DJ Hero. (not really.) i don't see this game doing shit for DJ'ing except for further trivializing it and turning it into some hack novelty.
