This is disgusting.

The crazy thing is that there's nothing wrong with the commercial if only they replaced the last 12 seconds of that prop 8 nonsense with one of the men answering her question

@BiblePreacher455 says who? You?
I say atheism is the only truth in life, anything else is unacceptable

@dannyboyinspace Because both incest marriage and polygamy have no advocates, no popular support, no political support, and is not a mainstream issue.
When they have met all those conditions (and that, believe me, will take quite a few generations) THEN, perhaps, and just perhaps, incest marriage and polygamy will be POSSIBLE.

CONT: In such cultures, homosexual relationships were either tolerated, accepted or encouraged.
It was Judeo-Christianity, with it's deep aversion towards pagan idolatry (often performed through both straight and gay sex) and the latter's reproductive-focused view on sex (the Christian belief that sex can only be for reproductive purposes only, and within wedlock) that homosexuality became "immoral" and "perverted".
-
CONT: Also, on homosexuality and it's acceptance? Only the cultures where Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) were strong was homosexuality seen with bad eyes.
In other cultures and religions, such as Hinduism, Ancient and Medieval Japan, Ancient and Medieval China, Pre-Colombine Native American cultures, Ancient Rome (same sex marriages actually took place on certain occasions), Ancient Greece (and armies formed by same sex couples were actually common), etc.
-
CONT: Also, incestous relations where not always found to be immoral (in fact, they have been historically quite common among high class families and nobility, because of "purity of blood" issues. If you don't believe me, look up the Habsburgs. All of them inbreds.)
Also, polygamy was, and nowadays still is, very common and accepted in many cultures world-wide. After all, women were viewed as possessions by most cultures, so the number of wives a man could have were rarely a taboo.

@Bossk333 Well, thanks for clearing that up.
Nice trolling, BTW.

@tecaltabiano They have identical values and not so long ago homosexuality was seen in the same light as them. You don't to tell me I know people are hypocrites.
Kid: Daddy, what's "marriage"?
Dad: Marriage is when two people love each other enough to spend the rest of their lives together.
Kid: Can two boys get married?
Dad: Umm... No sweetie only one girl and one boy.
Kid: Meghan says that two boys can still love each other. If they can't get married, then what's marriage?
Let's not confuse our kids. Protect marriage by protecting the real meaning of marriage: LOVE

Why not just be completely honest and say 2 men can't have children by themslves bcuz it takes an egg and a sperm to make a baby and men only have sperm. But ur father and I wanted a beautiful little girl to call our own so we got an egg from a lady to make u/we adopted u from a mummy who couldn't take care of u.
And marriage is a promise that u will stay forever by the side of the PERSON u love, thats why your father and I got married because we love each other and want to be together forever
