@crazzygirl385 Bleaching hair that's already been bleached isn't a good idea. Your hair can get very damaged. I'd suggest let it fade! If you wash your hair with dish soap every now and again it will fade it a lot, but ALWAYS deep condition after! Wash your hair in warm water, it opens the follicles so more colour comes out! Hot oil treatments are good too! And anti dandruff shampoo like head and shoulders, or any clarifying shampoo :) Try to bleach as little as possible!

@yellow224 I used shocking blue after this for a while, it's an amazing colour! Any of the things? D: Really all you need is gloves! Well, and bleach if your hair isn't light enough... But if you haven't bleached at home before be very very careful, the way I did it is really damaging to hair!

I have never bleached my hair before, and I have only dyed it about 5-7 times, but none recently. I want to go from dark-med brown to either a very vivid red(the actual color red) or maybe a type of blue or purple. I havent decided. How many times would you figure I'd have to bleach it? And does manic panic work with those colors? Will my hair fall out lol?

@AlleycalledMckenzie First of all I'm not a hairdresser, so I only go on experience and I'm not saying do what I do. I did do what you're wanting to do a while ago! Good thing about going vivid red, you don't need to have a white base. If you bleach your hair to a yellow it should be fine! I only bleached my hair once and it was fine. I prefer Special Effects reds to MP reds. Just check your hair when bleaching and if it feels gummy wash it off instantly and don't bleach it again! Good luck!

My hair is purply brown, and I wanna dye it blue but I don't want to bleach my hair. :/

@lauranjo When I was younger I had dark blonde hair, I put blue dye over it and it came out seaweed green. Unfortunately if you want blue hair you have to have a white base, so you'll have to bleach it.
You could always get a wig or extensions if you really don't want to bleach your hair but want blue?

do you think if i have kinda of a dirty blonde kind of hair, will i have to bleach my hair to dye it red?

@toxicskittlez09 You shouldn't have to. Red goes over lots of colours well :) If you don't bleach it it won't be as vivid as it could be, but it should still go a really nice red!
