I heard somewhere that this was based upon an incident that really happened. This stuff happens all the time. It could be you, or a best friend. Your son or daughter, your sister or brother, or your mother or father. And if not yours, someone else's. Think about it.

@thatwasweird95 nothings wrong, these 'shock' ads have assisted in the reduction of road deaths and accidents in this country. I would rather horrible advertisments than have a higher number of road death/injury or trauma any day. Though, when these style ads first aired they did cause a great deal of debate in the community.

man this makes me think... all those times i was failing to give way, all those times i didn't leave enough space between me and the car in front.. i wasn't doing anything wrong but speeding! It makes me safe to know that so long as i'm not speeding i can't cause accidents like this. think of all the babies i'm saving by not going 5kph over the limit!

ok . i have to say that video is great, cos' for about 3 secondes my heart stopped, and it really shocked me. i don't wanna have to think about whether it's a fake or if the whole thing makes people laugh, because it really served it's purpose on me. so just for that , well done.
