@CaneFu lol because everyone knows largemouth bass can't possibly survive in murky rivers. *sarchasm* all joking aside, LMB can thrive in murky water. Trust me.

Thanks for posting Danny. Very informative and nicely done with the mirror.

what is your line lbs?
-
@CaneFu thats the problem it would kill everything so i would never wish to have them import them here
-
They need to import some of those Wels catfish to America - we would gladly welcome an invasive species such as that one.
-
@CaneFu in the river ebro in spain there an invasive species there originally from germany
-
You're right - I recently watched an episode of the TV show River Monsters where they were fishing for the giant Wels catfish in Europe - if I remember right Jeremy caught a 170 lb. catfish on the show and these fish grow to over 200 lbs. - and that has to be a helluva lot more exciting than catching a 5 lb. bass. Anglers travel from all over the world to try their hand at catching one of these monsters. It's also strictly catch and release fishing when you hook one.

nice fish
-
@CaneFu i know they7 have 200lbs cats in europe

Lmao the only time the UK owned the US was when the US was establishing itself. If you think the UK can own the US now, then your more of an idiot than initially anticipated. UK's prime is over, your influence around the world has faded and its time for you to realize that your our bitch now.
@UkFisherman81lb
Why did you post such a hateful reply to me for posting the facts - are you insane or just completely immature? The official world record for a common carp taken by rod & reel is 99 Lbs. - caught in France by John Bryan in June 2010. Asian carp grow even bigger but are hard to take by rod & reel. Go look it up you frigging moron; you shouldn't make any more posts on YouTube if you're too stupid to check the facts before replying with your ignorance.

@onogrirwin
"dont they have catfish or bass in europe?"
Some people simply enjoy the sport of fishing for its own sake. Who cares about catching a 5 lb. bass when the average carp in my local river are 20 - 50 lbs. and grow even bigger, up to 100 lbs. Most rivers in the U.S. are polluted and carp are one of the few species that thrive in murky waters. If a person doesn't live near the ocean, then carp fishing offers the best opportunity for consistently catching big fish.
