Dining and Libation Society at Macao

The Halloween spirit is in the air, but Time Out New York's Dining & Libation Society can't abide jack-o'-tinis and bowls of candy corn when party time rolls around. Instead, Eat Out editor Jordana Rothman and the rest of the gang invite you to join them on Tuesday 26 for a special All Hallows' Eve cocktail bash at Macao Trading Co. (311 Church St between Lispenard and Walker Sts; 6--9pm). Mixology whiz Dushan Zaric will be showcasing six serious Van Gogh Vodka cocktails—including the Panda Poacher, with fig puree, honey syrup, yellow chartreuse and apple cider—alongside plentiful Chinese-Portuguese bites from chef Josh Blakely.
