I am the kick & knee first then punch & elbows later. I am not very good at boxing, I'm better at kicking than boxing. I made some improvement in the past 2 months as I did a lot more boxing training lately (though the boxing stance kind of confuse me a little and it's a bit difference in term on how I distribute weight on my legs/feet).

If I can train like this for 2 months, I bet I will be much much better *dreaming here :D* If I have the money and time, I want to do this for 2 - 3 months.

  • Still look great to me CuppaWorkout. Yeah I know what you're saying about the money and time. My membership ends and I week and I'm not going to renew but hopefully I'll be back. (:

  • @gabepizza are you in NYC area? I heard things are crazy expensive over there, even their crossfit fee is a lot higher than here.

Bummer that you won't continue....maybe invest in heavy bags so you can still practice?

  • @CuppaWorkout Yeah $200 a month. Being in NYC I also don't have space for heavy bags (I even have to be considerate of my downstairs neighbor when doing jumps, burpees, etc...) but I am going to get a kettlebell and some dumbbells and keep up my conditioning by, among other things, following your videos and hopefully will rejoin my gym when I have enough time to make it worth the money. I have always used you and your videos for inspiration and have lost 15 lbs this summer. Thank you!!

  • @gabepizza awesome. Shadowboxing is good too. I recommend to do bass rutten cd or dvd....he will give you instruction for boxing or muay thai on 3 min round. You can do it with 3 lbs dumbbell as you progress. Pretty good workout, I usually kind of gave up after 6 rounds (3 min each) hehe...

  • where was everyone else? By any chance do you know if my trainer Preecha is still there? What about Yodsanklai, Narupon and Teelak?

  • @EvanChaim I didn't join the group classes so I came after everyone else is done (after the morning class finished and before the afternoon classes started). Yodsanklai was in his hometown because he was originally scheduled to fight at Muay Thai Premiere League in Long Beach, CA. He ended up pulling out because he still had the hamstring injury. It was ironic, I came all the way to Pattaya to see him and he ended up travelling to my neck of the woods.

  • @EvanChaim -Preecha was in Bangplee this spring when I was there.

  • @CuppaWorkout Thanks I'll give that a try. The hard part now will be to keep the weight off!
