We did everything except 1 of the verses in a day. Recorded on GarageBand and edited on Final Cut. Filmed with my Nikon D5000

Verse 1: He's done this so, so many times before. Counts the one, the snare, the kick, the four,but once the green lights on and the eyes are staring on him,the words don't come. It doesn't happen very often he feels like this crowd is the most important one yet so he struggles to remember,forgets to take a breath,lungs don't inflate and his heart skips a beat. What's the next step? Inhale, exhale repeat. The beat just goes without words to follow,
He's anxious and panicked and wishing it was already tomorrow,lookin for an exit tryin not to exist, the truth is, he's just a scared kid. pro's and convicts thrown together in the mix to hopefully banlance what doesn't exist. In the mindset of a common steady liar, the flames already sparked to die and to start a fire. Don't stand too close to the flames I can promise that you will get burned. Don't flash your trophy scars around here kid if they weren't rightfully earned.

Verse 2: But then he's sittin at the top chillin on a rock, lookin down over the city they're feelin like they're shocked. They tell him one more, they feelin like they know when he's sippin up on that good, he's feelin like he's gone. Well bring another round, nah just bring out the bottle. Nervous tryin to fit in no admitting that he struggles. And he don't wanna do that cuz he'll lose a little bit of his earned street cred that he got from sayin that he's a gangster rapper, and when they step to him he's the biggest gun clapper. Even though he grew up in the church, don't wanna ask forgiveness cuz he knows it'll hurt. To see his mama's face, to bring her the pain. History inevitably repeating itself again. I guess I should mention that it happened once before, she said he's out the house if it happens once more.
