u can go to shillong any time from may to october...its raining and beautiful at this time of the year. there r so many places to see...u can go to cherrapunji, ranikor, jowai...and place in and around shillong.

is it advisable to go to Shillong during 1st week of June?

Thanks for the comment! I love Shillong also. This latest trip was especially interesting to me. Shillong has grown quite a bit since my last visit.

Thanks...kinda of crappy quality from my digital camera. I was there from Oct 9th-Oct14th this year. Monsoon season is supposed to end Sept 30th, but the weather was a little bit strange this year. Last time I visited was in 1999.
