Does anything on the radio in the last 40 years sound this great? There was some good music(in stereo), yes, but this is pure, raw mono on a punchy 45rpm, and that my friends, sums it up. You can't beat it! Great post and sound 'Clouds!
The words are "thought that love was a merry go"....my band used to play this great song way back in the 60s....It really got the crowd going at college frat parties. There is nothing like a bunch drunk college girls jumping around to a wild party song and this was one of the best...aah the memories,Well that was a long time ago. I haven't heard this song in many years thanks for posting!
Hello! I have this song, but my copy is on "Prospect" records, an all-yellow label with black print. And, the artist is "The Smoke Rings"...but it definitely is the same song, the same group. Prospect records was based in Los Angeles. What does the singer say when he sings, "thot that love was a...(can't understand that word)"
PLEASE! someone who speaks english, post the lyrics, please.

@cdadave83814 The Boulders compilation copy uses The Smoke Rings. I'll ask my buddy, who knows everything about '60s Garageband groups and music.
